(i) It inspires democrats because despite a bitter struggle for freedom they opted for a democratic system of government.

(ii) Black and white sat together to draw up a common Constitution forgetting the bitterness of the past.

(iii) This Constitution gives its citizens the most extensive rights available in a country.

(iv) It was agreed that both races would jointly work to solve all problems. Nobody would be excluded or treated as a demon.
